Riverstone produces washbasins in Politek, a material composed of thermosetting polyester resin and very fine calcium carbonate coated with Gelcoat for shiny white or opaque sanitary use, certified to be used both in the residential and in the public sphere (hotels, restaurants, hospitals, etc.). The advantage of this technology compared to traditional ceramics lies in the possibility of producing much larger sizes (up to 270 cm in length) and thinner thicknesses (12 mm). Furthermore, the molds used for molding with polyester resin injection are less expensive than the molds used for the production of ceramics, allowing our customers to have customized models even with very small production batches (min 50pcs). Furthermore, this material can be cut and machined to measure. These possibilities are highly appreciated on the market for being combined with modular furniture supplied just-in-time to the consumer.
